ADHD Coaching for Academic Success
ADHD Coaching for Academic Success
You Know You're Capable of More. So What's Getting in the Way?
You know you're intelligent and capable, yet somehow your performance doesn't always reflect your potential. You may spend hours trying to get started on an assignment, struggle to stay organized, lose track of time, or wait until deadlines become emergencies before you can finally focus.
If you've ever found yourself wondering, “Why can't I just do it?” you're not alone.
Whether you're in college, graduate school, or returning to school later in life, ADHD and executive functioning challenges can make even the most capable students question themselves. The good news is that these are skills that can be learned.
My Approach
ADHD isn't a lack of intelligence, motivation, or potential. More often, it's a challenge of executive functioning—planning, prioritizing, getting started, staying organized, and following through.
My approach integrates TEAM-CBT, an evidence-based form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), professional ADHD coaching, and structured, evidence-based executive functioning strategies to help you build practical, sustainable skills for success.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, we'll identify what's getting in your way and develop personalized strategies that work with your learning style, strengths, and goals.
Anxiety commonly accompanies ADHD, and it's not hard to understand why. Years of struggling to get started, stay organized, manage time, meet deadlines, and perform at the level you know you're capable of can lead to tremendous frustration, anxiety, self-doubt, shame, and sometimes depression.
That's why our work often begins with the ADHD itself—building practical executive functioning skills that help you become more organized, productive, and effective. As functioning improves, many people find that their anxiety decreases and their confidence grows. When years of struggling have left a deeper emotional imprint, we can then address lingering anxiety, depression, or negative thinking patterns more directly.
Drawing from structured, evidence-based ADHD treatment programs—including Mastering Your Adult ADHD, which teaches practical executive functioning skills—I tailor treatment to each person's unique strengths, challenges, and goals.

My goal isn't simply to help you get through school. It's to help you develop skills that will continue serving you long after graduation—and throughout your career and life.
